How do I motivate my team?

To motivate your team, you need to be in tune with the aspirations, skills and goals of individual team members. When organising the team’s workload, try to dovetail the tasks that need to be done or the opportunities that are on offer with those skills and aspirations. Not only will this motivate your staff, but it will also develop their skills, which will strengthen both the effectiveness of your team and your staff’s respect for you as a manager.
