Your employer is legally obliged to make 'reasonable adjustments' to help you to return to work. What is considered reasonable depends on your particular case.
Obtain your organisation's written procedures (if there are any) on supporting people with a disability. You must be fully consulted and involved in the adjustment process at every stage. Many employers prepare a written return-to-work agreement with their employees as the basis of a return to work.
