How should hazardous substances be labelled and packaged?
The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH) cover almost every workplace, from offices to factories, where hazardous substances may be used or produced.
The COSHH Regulations also specify the duties of employers and workers, and together with the Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulations (CLP), set out the law on the labelling and packaging of hazardous substances. Hazardous substances should be clearly labelled as such.
Follow the instructions – they are your first line of protection.
