Do workers, as well as employees, have rights as part-timers?

Yes. The Part-time Workers Regulations refer to workers and so cover anyone who works under a contract of employment (employees) or any other contract for providing services personally (workers).

This means that temporary workers such as agency staff, zero-hours contract workers and casual workers are protected.
