What state benefits do my National Insurance contributions entitle me to?

Payment of Class 1 National Insurance contributions entitles you, where appropriate, to the following benefits:

  • Employment and Support Allowance;
  • Jobseeker's Allowance;
  • Maternity Allowance;
  • Bereavement Payment, Allowance and Support Payment;
  • State Pension;
  • Widowed Parent's Allowance;
