As a printworker, what are the risks?

Dermatitis is common in the print industry. According to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), print workers who use chemicals such as inks and wash-up solutions in the course of their work are three times more at risk of developing dermatitis than other groups of workers.

The main irritant products include developers, etching solutions, cleaning solvents, inks, glues, gums, oils and greases.
