What is a community-based occupational health project?

Community-based occupational health (OH) projects are based in GPs' surgeries in a number of towns and cities across the UK. Together with local hazards centres, they provide free, confidential specialist advice and support to workers suffering from work-related ill health or injury.

Their free services are an invaluable addition to overburdened GPs.
