You are entitled to benefit from exactly the same terms and conditions that you would have received had you not been on leave, except for those terms and conditions relating to remuneration (e.g. wages and sick pay).
You accrue annual leave while you are on Shared Parental Leave. You cannot take it during your Shared Parental Leave, but it is possible to add paid annual leave to a period of Shared Parental Leave, as long as you give your employer the right notice. Check your employer’s holiday rules.
