If your shift involves working 'as a normal course' at least three hours between 11pm and 6am, then you are a nightworker and the restriction on working hours applies.
An individual works hours 'as a normal course' if he or she works those hours on a majority of days. A person doing nightwork as part of a rotating shift pattern will also be covered if more than one third of their working time is spent working at night.
